Obama, Politics and God

Excellent video by Michael Voris on the direction our country is REALLY going after the democrats at first rejected God for their platform. But just because they "NOW" say they believe in God after all the back lash, does not mean they have ALL changed their minds? In fact, the ayes and nays were pretty equal when they took a vote to restore God and Jerusalem. BUT because President Obama said he wants God back in the platform, oh, and of course "Jerusalem" , all is good in the world. Did a miracle just occur OR was it just politics? I'll give you a minute to decide which answer you'll choose.

By throwing God out of their agenda, and actually, it's probably just as well considering their agenda is against God, they have cut their own throats. Jesus specifically tells us in Scripture in Matthew 10:33: "But he that shall deny me before men, I will also deny him before my Father who is in heaven."

Do the democrats know what they are doing to themselves or don't they care? Is their agenda of killing babies, and giving in to the gay lifestyle more important than God or their eternal soul? I can see the muslims and other non-Christians denying these things, but Christians? And fake Catholics to boot?

I pray, hard, that Cardinal Dolan will exorcise that arena tonight by his prayers to God and that those Christians, particularly Catholics, come to their senses before it is too late. The choice this year, people, IS, God or satan. We can't be in the middle because part of the middle is a downhill slope and the other is uphill. Think before you vote for the party of sin on November 6. Our country depends on it, as do our eternal souls.

I was looking at the word 'democratic' convention earlier today and the word 'demon' just popped out at me. And I thought to myself, you know, this is exactly how I view what the DEMONcrats are doing at their convention. To me it is Lucifer's very own 'reality show' with Planned Parenthood, NARAL, gay/lesbians, supporters of contraception, and all sorts of sins on their agenda that our good and Holy Lord teaches us to not participate in during this life here on earth.

With Cardinal Dolan doing the final prayer next week, maybe he should add a little exorcism to that prayer and pray it at the beginning of the convention instead. Maybe we'll see people like Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid dressed up as little demons, stoking the fire under unsuspecting new democrats, to get them in to their little group and help them lose their souls, too, by lying to them about what, first of all, the Catholic Church teaches and that Obama is the best thing to ever happen to them since, um, Hitler.

To think that a group of politicians in this country can go up and stand there and say that they agree that an unborn child should be killed at any stage of pregnancy is appalling to most Christians.

To think that a group of politicians in this country can go up and stand there and say that they agree that gays should be allowed marriage rights, even though God, Himself, calls that lifestyle an abomination, is also appalling to most Christians.

There is not one thing Christian about that whole convention. Nothing. It's a mockery to God and everything God has done for mankind. It's disgusting and offensive and should be to every living soul in this country and around the world.

So I am calling all Catholics to prayer this election year. And other Christians, too, who value life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The only way our country will change, is by fasting, prayer and sacrifice. Period.

Each speaker at the republican convention ended their speech with "and may God bless the United States of America".  I am adding my amen and prayer that He will give us one last chance, because that's about all we have left. One.

He makes a great point of Americans voting. For the Lesser of Two Evils - Romney not being Christian and Obama being possessed by evil.

How do we Catholics decide if we should vote or not or who to vote for?

I thought we voted for the lesser of two evils in the last 2 elections. This one is definitely

worse. So is it morally wrong to vote this year or is it worse if we don't vote? What do we, as Catholics, do?  

Stupid Catholic Voters...

There are some Catholics out there that just don't get it...or don't care, but will one day- Judgement Day. I am not talking about all Catholic voters here... just the stupid and/or defiant ones.

President Obama has attacked the Catholic Church and it's teachings on everything from abortion to embryonic stem cell research, from gay marriage to religious liberty (HHS Mandate) and more, yet some *coughSTUPIDcough* Catholic voters just don't care. They will support Obama as he butchers preborn children with his agenda, they will continue to support Obama as he attempts to force the Catholic Church to close down it's hospitals, charities, adoption agencies (has already happened in some states because of gay "marriage" (as if!). And still the delusional Catholic voter marches on following Obama's one-way-to-hell policies.

It can't be mere ignorance that so many Catholics support Obama - the Bishops have been very vocal these last several months on the issue of the HHS Mandate- and even non-Catholics know the Church's standing on abortion and gay marriage- so what's left? Sheer stupidity and defiant rejection of clear Church teachings.

Catholic Catechism: #2271 Since the first century the Church has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion. This teaching has not changed and remains unchangeable. Direct abortion, that is to say, abortion willed either as an end or a means, is gravely contrary to the moral law:

You shall not kill the embryo by abortion and shall not cause the newborn to perish. 75
God, the Lord of life, has entrusted to men the noble mission of safeguarding life, and men must carry it out in a manner worthy of themselves. Life must be protected with the utmost care from the moment of conception: abortion and infanticide are abominable crimes. 76

#2272 Formal cooperation in an abortion constitutes a grave offense. The Church attaches the canonical penalty of excommunication to this crime against human life. "A person who procures a completed abortion incurs excommunication latae sententiae," 77 "by the very commission of the offense," 78 and subject to the conditions provided by Canon Law. 79 The Church does not thereby intend to restrict the scope of mercy. Rather, she makes clear the gravity of the crime committed, the irreparable harm done to the innocent who is put to death, as well as to the parents and the whole of society.

It doesn't get any plainer than that, yet some STILL don't get it- especially Catholic politicians so the Church offers this...

IV. POSITIONS OF CATHOLIC POLITICIANS
WITH REGARD TO LEGISLATION IN FAVOUR
OF HOMOSEXUAL UNIONS

10. If it is true that all Catholics are obliged to oppose the legal recognition of homosexual unions, Catholic politicians are obliged to do so in a particular way, in keeping with their responsibility as politicians. Faced with legislative proposals in favour of homosexual unions, Catholic politicians are to take account of the following ethical indications.

When legislation in favour of the recognition of homosexual unions is proposed for the first time in a legislative assembly, the Catholic law-maker has a moral duty to express his opposition clearly and publicly and to vote against it. To vote in favour of a law so harmful to the common good is gravely immoral.

When legislation in favour of the recognition of homosexual unions is already in force, the Catholic politician must oppose it in the ways that are possible for him and make his opposition known; it is his duty to witness to the truth. If it is not possible to repeal such a law completely, the Catholic politician, recalling the indications contained in the Encyclical Letter Evangelium vitae, could licitly support proposals aimed at limiting the harm done by such a law and at lessening its negative consequences at the level of general opinion and public morality, on condition that his absolute personal opposition to such laws was clear and well known and that the danger of scandal was avoided.(18) This does not mean that a more restrictive law in this area could be considered just or even acceptable; rather, it is a question of the legitimate and dutiful attempt to obtain at least the partial repeal of an unjust law when its total abrogation is not possible at the moment.


CONCLUSION

11. The Church teaches that respect for homosexual persons cannot lead in any way to approval of homosexual behaviour or to legal recognition of homosexual unions. The common good requires that laws recognize, promote and protect marriage as the basis of the family, the primary unit of society. Legal recognition of homosexual unions or placing them on the same level as marriage would mean not only the approval of deviant behaviour, with the consequence of making it a model in present-day society, but would also obscure basic values which belong to the common inheritance of humanity. The Church cannot fail to defend these values, for the good of men and women and for the good of society itself.

The Sovereign Pontiff John Paul II, in the Audience of March 28, 2003, approved the present Considerations, adopted in the Ordinary Session of this Congregation, and ordered their publication."

What will some Catholic voters say to God on Judgement Day? I wouldn't bet on "I didn't know!!" working after all the Church has done to make sure Catholics are well informed.
